British Airways wanted an innovative way to showcase their new Club Class seat on the A350-1000 planes arriving at Heathrow.
In partnership with Eleven Twenty Seven and Shift, an immersive AV experience was designed that went beyond the typical LED wall and photoshoot.
After the initial site visit and viewing the proposed space, it was clear that the boundaries needed to be pushed.

While developing the brief with British Airways, it became clear this would be no ordinary event – it was a once-in-a-decade opportunity for the client.
The concept – a musical 360° laser projection by laser specialists Pilot Technologies – created a captivating show that matched BA’s high ambitions for the event.
Using real-time projection laser mapping technology, the design elements of the A350 were brought to life inside a bespoke black-out structure.

With the A350 landing at a precisely scheduled time, the plan had to be carefully crafted.
Strict security and protocols at Heathrow meant every supplier had to be thoroughly vetted and given clear instructions to execute the plan.
Thanks to the team's exceptional organisation and the diligence of Health & Safety specialist Alphacello, our suppliers moved through the site as smoothly as any typical event.

The event space had to cater to the British Airways PR team, the press, and the all-important BA staff to witness the new addition to BA’s fleet.
The guest journey was thoughtfully planned with the client, with every detail worked out and executed seamlessly on event day.
The reception and presentation spaces were designed to match the event’s aesthetics and uphold the high standards expected by such a renowned British institution.
